May 13th, 2013 by Jeff Tunnell

Jeff Tunnell here. I am so happy to announce that we are working onContraption Maker, the spiritual successor to The Incredible Machine! I am even more happy to announce that Kevin Ryan and Brian Hahn are both working on the project (along with the rest of the incredibly talented people at Spotkin), so we have the entire original team that worked on TIM.

We are rapidly approaching 30 years since I created the first design document for TIM (see above). Even though we have all worked on hundreds of different games, we all agree that The Incredible Machine was our favorite.

Working on Contraption Maker with modern processors and GPU’s, huge memory, connectivity, and high definition monitors is like being in a dream world.  We can’t wait to show you all of the ideas we have for this product.
